The ESNC is one of Europe’s largest idea competitions and has helped many aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into an actual business. The competition is open to students, young and experienced professionals, companies, engineers, designers, business developers – anyone with a bright idea that leverages the power of satellite navigation for a practical earth application.
About the Idea Generation workshop
During this workshop, you will be helped to develop and shape an idea into a submission with winning potential. Individuals or small teams are challenged to explore and enhance their proposition: which problem does your solution solve? Is there a viable business model for your idea? And how does the solution fit into your current business or organization?
By the end of the workshop, you will have developed your idea into a business plan that can be submitted to the ESNC directly.
This workshop is co-organised by the Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk and CGI. The event takes place in the offices of CGI in Rotterdam.

The Trainers
The workshop will be led by Derk Schneemann of Verhaert. As innovation consultant and ESA technology transfer broker, Derk has several years of experience connecting businesses and mentoring start-ups in the field of space technology on earth.
